Thriller Bark

The Original Thriller Bark before the Buster Call

Thriller Bark (スリラーバーク Surirā Bāku) is an Island that was once occupied by former Shichibukai Gekko Moriah and converted into the largest ship in the world. But it was later abanonded and remained as an island breeding creatures such as the undead, monsters and ghosts. Centuries later it was ruled by an entity known was Akuma the Undead Samurai but it was destroyed as the result of a Marine Buster Call. 

Months later Thriller Bark was ressurected by an agent of the White Wing Pirates named Solomen Francis more well known as Doctor Stitch. He and his psuedo-zombie creations rebuilt Thriller Bark as a castle that occupied the space of an entire island. 

Landmarks[]

The island is surrounded by a huge outer wall that goes around the ship, with a gate resembling a giant mouth that opens and closes. There are four separate chains that connect from the wall to the mast above the mansion. The island has an old broken inner stone wall encircling it with towers and a moat. There is a mansion in the middle of the island, surrounded by the Dead Forest.

Chomp Gate[]

All of Thriller Bark is surrounded by a large gate that resembles a large mouth. This is meant to discourage intruders, it was destroyed by Kurono Azolf. 

Dead Forest[]

The forest that covers the majority of the Island, inhabited mostly by the zombies on the Island. When the Red Wing Pirates arrived on Thriller Bark, they traveled from area to area throughout the Dead Forest. 

River of Zen[]

The River of Zen, as explained by Tenshi is the manifestation off all the goodness and memories of all the lost souls in Thriler Bark. If a human were to bathe in its waters they could be influenced by this "light" of all the souls in Thriller Bark. Lyndis, Romeo and Squall all took a dip in the River before it was destroyed by Kurono Azolf. 

Mass Mansion[]

The Mansion dead center of Thriller Bark. It has several floors and rooms that hold several dozen horrors. Its basement acted as the home of Akuma himself. He was able to freely manipulate the temperature, qualities and appearance of the mansion at will.

Reborn Thriller Bark

After Thriller Bark's original destruction, it was rebuilt by Doctor Stich of the White Wing Pirates. It was rebuilt as a gigantic castle with many dark and demonic themes that outline and headline the castle.
